Sweet, sensual, and sometimes a little morbid. Art pics for your home from Mee Gallery. I can see these next to a vanity or reading nook.

Wishlist Wednesdays: Angela Adams Rugs
The first time I came across Angela Adams' work was on a Design*Sponge Sneak Peek (go figure!). I immediately fell in love with her textiles.
You can purchase the rugs and other Angela Adams goodies at her online store.
Her rugs are plush, have great dimension, and add whimsy and color to a room.
Her wool rugs range from almost $300 to over $1,000, so I guess I will have to wait on getting one at the moment. Apparently, a student budget does not allow room for beautiful rugs.

Sputnik Splendor
I'm a big fan of the atomic era especially for its funky and whimsical designs. One classic piece from this genre is the Sputnik. If you keep the rest of the room simple and modern, the Sputnik can be a standout statement without being too kitschy.
Below is a roundup of some of my favorites:

Besides beautiful glass bubble jewelry, jeanpelle makes gorgeous home accents like faceted wood candle holders and one-of-a-kind assemblages. These would make wonderful gifts for a special friend or your special self.

Obsession of the Month: P-P-P-Pyrex!
Many people may think of Pyrex as clear heavy duty ovenware, but if you look to the past (all the way to the 1900's!) or even in your local thrift store, you'll find the same sturdy cookware but in an array of colors and designs.
Old Pyrex has easily become a collectible item for its retro design and practicality. If you're not collecting yet, then it's about time!

Fair Foods
I was listening to the radio this morning and heard that the Wisconsin State Fair is now serving chocolate-covered bacon! Yeah, that's right! I've had fried PB&J sandwiches before but nothing close to the intriguing salty/sweet combo of decadent chocolate on fried pork!
Fair foods have always been a rare treat for me especially living in the city. I love the nostalgic feeling of being at the fair, but it's the overindulgence of eating all the mouth-watering comfort foods that really gets me going!
I have now added chocolate-covered bacon to my list along with fried Twinkies.

In a previous post, we featured Lunar Lounge's beautiful argyle shelving unit. Since the rest of their furniture is just as lovely, we think it is only appropriate to show off their Etsy site.
For more information on Lunar Lounge, check out their website. They carry a great line of furniture that mimicks their mid-century counterpart but without the overpriced vintage price tag.
