Shared Finds: Queen of Hearts

My latest antique shopping trip took me to 19th Street in the Heights of Houston. I had to do a double take when I found these amazing ceramic footed cups with an ethereal sculpted face.



Besides being gorgeous cups in pristine condition, they also remind me of Jonathan Adler's Utopia collection.



Makes me wonder whether Jonathan Adler was in any way inspired by whoever created these or if it is just an eerie coincidence. The only indication as to the cups' maker is a raised logo underneath one of the cups. The tag from the store also said they were "Queen of Hearts" cups, so maybe they were a part of an Alice in Wonderland collection? If anyone has a clue as to who made these, please email me!
